Introducing Firma 12: The First E-Signature Platform You Can Run Entirely Through AI

Firma 12 is live, and it ships with something no other e-signature platform in the world has: full MCP integration for both documentation and live data.

That means you can connect Firma.dev to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, VS Code, or OpenAI Codex, and manage your entire e-signature workflow through natural language. What's new in Firma 12

Firma 12 introduces the Data MCP server, which joins the Docs MCP server we launched in February. Together, they give AI tools access to both our documentation and your live workspace data.

The Data MCP server provides 84 tools across 10 categories:

• Signing Requests — create, send, cancel, resend, track audit trails

• Templates — list, create, duplicate, replace documents

• Workspaces — create and manage multi-tenant workspaces

• Webhooks — configure real-time event notifications

• Email Domains — set up custom sending domains

• Email Templates — customize signer notifications

• Custom Fields — manage metadata on workspaces, templates, and signing requests

• JWT & Settings — generate tokens for embedded editors

• Company — view and update company-level settings

Authentication is handled through OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You sign in with your Firma.dev account and you're running. No API keys to juggle, no configuration files to manage.

No developer required

This is the part that changes things. MCP isn't just for developers building integrations. It's for anyone who uses an AI assistant.

If you can open Claude.ai or ChatGPT and type a sentence, you can operate Firma.dev. Add the MCP server URL, sign in, and start talking to your AI about your signing requests. The AI handles the API calls.

Yavuz Selim Mert, founder of Splendid Consulting in Toronto, integrated Firma.dev without any prior coding experience. Using ChatGPT to guide his setup, he completed his entire integration in about a day and cut his monthly e-signature costs from $230 to approximately $14, a 94% reduction.
