Salesforce E-Signature Integration

Integrate E-Signatures to Salesforce with Salesforce and Firma.dev logos.

Most Salesforce e-signature setups start with a managed package from the AppExchange, and the pricing model that comes with it. Per-seat licenses, an annual minimum, and a license count that grows even though only a few people ever send a contract. There is a lighter way to do this that runs on the Salesforce building blocks your admins already use.

Firma.dev connects to Salesforce through Flow, External Services, Apex, and Agentforce. You register it once, wire it into the automations you care about, and signing becomes another step in the process instead of a separate tool with its own bill. This is the short version. The full walkthrough is on the pages linked below.

What you can actually do

Three outcomes cover most of what a Salesforce team needs from signing, and the standard path needs no developer. Flow can send the right template to the right signer the moment a record hits a condition you define, so Closed Won on an Opportunity sends the contract on its own. When the signer finishes, Salesforce receives a webhook and the record updates itself, moving the stage and attaching the signed PDF without anyone chasing status. And if you run Agentforce, you can expose signing as an agent action, so a rep asks the agent to send an NDA and the agent confirms the details before anything goes out.

The cost difference

The pricing models are the real contrast. Firma.dev is pay-as-you-go at €0.029 per envelope (~3¢ USD), with no per-seat licenses and no annual minimum. DocuSign for Salesforce is licensed per user per year, which works against you in the common case where a handful of people send agreements but the whole team needs to see status. You end up paying for visibility rather than usage. Per-envelope pricing charges for the documents that actually go out, and nothing more.

Where the code lives

This page is the why and the what. The Named Credential, the External Service registration, the Flow, the Apex invocable, the Agentforce action, and the webhooks back into Salesforce are all documented step by step in the technical guide.

Get started

Firma.dev is designed to support the frameworks these agreements rely on, including the ESIGN Act and UETA, so a signature captured from a Flow carries the same weight as one sent any other way. The price stays flat whether you send ten envelopes a month or ten thousand.
