MoXi®
How a cross-border lending company replaced its rigid loan origination system's e-signature tool with Firma.dev's API, gaining full control over when and how signature requests are sent.
The Problem
MoXi® is a cross-border lending company that helps US citizens and permanent residents buy property in Mexico. Their loan origination system (LOS) comes with a bundled e-signature platform, but it had serious limitations: templates weren't customizable, signature requests could only be sent at specific moments in the workflow, and there was no visibility into what was actually happening behind the scenes.
Oscar, who works in IT and has experience integrating a wide range of systems, was tasked with finding a more flexible solution. The company was also clear about one thing: whatever he chose had to be affordable.
I found Firma, and I think within two days of just messing around with the API, I was able to set up everything and have the communication between Firma to our LOS very, very quickly.

The Switch
Oscar connected Firma.dev's API to a Cloudflare Workers setup (a serverless layer) that sits between Firma.dev and their LOS. This gives MoXi® full control: they can trigger signature requests whenever they want, respond to alerts, queue documents, and run custom workflows, all by clicking buttons inside their existing system.
He specifically called out Firma.dev's API logging as a major advantage. Having worked with DocuSign and SignNow before, Oscar said the ability to see exactly when an API call hits the system and review what happened in real time was a significant improvement over debugging blind with error logs from other platforms.
You guys have a lot of tech pieces there, like how you show when an API actually hits the system and logs it to see what's actually happening. That stuff, it's such a life changer.

The Results
MoXi® now runs its e-signature workflows entirely through Firma.dev. The 25 free envelopes gave Oscar room to test thoroughly before committing, and the pay-as-you-go pricing fit the company's budget-conscious approach. Oscar expects Firma.dev to be a long-term part of their stack.
It's very cheap and you guys give us 25 free envelopes off the bat, which helps someone like me who's testing it out, making sure that the system actually can work for our company.
